"Job Description for Automation Test Engineer – Bosch Private Cloud
Responsibilities: • Understanding requirements and preparation of test cases from an end-user perspective • End to end Test Management using JIRA Xray Tool (From User Stories to Test Deliverables) • Create new test automation scripts using Selenium with Java (On need basis) • Assist in deployment and production releases.
Qualifications: • Personality: Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to find creative solutions, confident in working in large organizational structures. • Working style: Committed, focused, structured, team-oriented, capability in balancing interests • Experience: Requires both depth and breadth in technologies used in end-to-end test management, development methodologies, functional testing, and test automations. Furthermore, a solid understanding of the Cloud services.
Skills Required • ISTQB Foundation Level Certified • Strong Knowledge of Non-ERP Functional Testing and Test Automation using Selenium • Working Experience on JIRA Xray by creating User Stories, Test Cases, Test Plan, Test and Test Execution • Experience in API Automation using RestAssured and Selenium grid.• Experience in the usage of software development environments (for e.g.: Jenkins, GIT, Gradle, Artifactory etc.) • Knowledge on Java programming • Experience in Agile development methodologies • Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills • Willingness for continuous learning • Ability to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities and schedule, team, target oriented, ability to understand business initiatives and work independently • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and proactive approach • Must be able to perform work in accordance with defined organization standards, demonstrate knowledge and experience
Optional Skills: • Experience in Containerization, Docker and Kubernetes • Experience in Load & Performance Testing • Experience in the field of agile development and application operation in Cloud environments (DevOps) • Knowledge in the field of Cloud Platform Development/ Operations, system engineering or similar (For e.g. Cloud Foundry, Openstack/Openshift etc.) • Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code, Orchestration tools (e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible etc.) • Working knowledge with monitoring/logging tools (e.g. Grafana, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Prometheus etc.)
