A. Position Purpose:
Compliance and Assurance is an integral part of the Technology team. Compliance and Assurance is responsible
for driving the compliance to the various internal processes and policies within the Technology team to ensure
compliance and effective governance for the smooth execution of the Technology team. As a Senior Manager /
AVP in Compliance, the main role will be to
1. To independently handle the assurance activities involving compliance checks
2. To ensure that IT systems, processes, and controls comply with internal policies, and regulatory
requirements.
3. To review and recommend improvements to IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
4. Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with various stakeholders within the
bank.
B. Position Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
1 Independently handle assurance activities involving compliance checks
2 Conduct assurance review of past closed regulatory observation to ensure compliance is sustained
3 Ensure that IT systems, processes, and controls comply with internal policies, and regulatory requirements
4 Review and recommend improvements to IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
5 Prepare detailed reports on assurance gaps with remediation plan and target date
6 Track remediation plan and follow up on corrective actions ensuring target date is met
7 Proactively identify areas of weakness and address them before they reach 3rd line of defense
C. Qualifications and Experience Required:
Qualifications
Essential BCA / BBA / MBA / B.Com, JAIIB Certification will be an added advantage
Preferred Knowledge of Bank Technology functions and Regulatory requirements
Experience
Essential Minimum 4-6 years of experience in IT Risk and Compliance or IT Audit role
Understanding of IT controls, risk frameworks, and compliance standards.
Understanding of the banking environment
Working across and with large teams
Fair understanding of the banking technology functions
