Job Description:
Role/ Job Title: Production Engineering
Function/ Department: Information Technology
Job Purpose:
The role entails the responsibility of providing production support to bank's software
applications. It includes administering and resolving day to day production applications
issues, providing updates and perform root cause analysis.
Technical Skills required - SQL, Linux, Unix, Oracle, Shell Scripting, Devops and Java
Functional skills required - Knowledge of Trade Finance or Supply chain finance application
Primary Responsibilities:
Must have good analytical skills and debugging skills.
Must be ready to own end to end application production support.
Working with different products surrounding interface systems across different applications.
Co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders and vendor systems / products.
Design production support procedures, policies, and documentation.
Prepare recovery procedures for all applications and provide upgrade to same.
Establish the root causes of production errors and escalate serious concerns.
Manage code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized
functionality.
Create a monitoring plan for continuous development and up-gradation.
Supervise all alerts related to production application and system procedures and provide
services proactively.
Knowledge in Application/product Implementation, deployment, Version maintenance,
Release Management & Change Management, Testing (Application, Performance,
Penetration, Smoke, Sanity, Regression).
Provide end-to-end production support on IT Applications, Integrations, and mobile apps.
Provide L1 monitoring and application support with EOD/BOD experience.
Educational Qualification (Fulltime):
Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of
Computer Applications (BCA)
Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) /Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of
Computer Applications (MCA)
