Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QA Tester to join our Internet Banking team. The role involves
testing customer-facing and backend features of our digital banking platform, ensuring functionality,
performance, security, and compliance with industry standards. You’ll collaborate with developers,
product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality banking experiences to our
customers.
Key Responsibilities:
? Analyse business and technical requirements to develop test strategies and plans.
? Design, execute, and maintain test cases for web and mobile internet banking applications.
? Perform functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing.
? Test banking features like fund transfers, account summaries, bill payments, statements,
alerts, and authentication flows.
? Validate APIs and backend services supporting internet banking.
? Log detailed defects and track them to closure using tools like JIRA.
? Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
? Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure full test coverage.
? Support UAT, production validation, and release testing efforts.
Required Skills Experience:
? 3+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 1–2 years in internet or mobile banking
domain.
? Strong understanding of banking workflows and customer journeys.
? Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM).
? Solid knowledge of SQL for database testing.
? Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman.
? Exposure to security best practices in digital banking applications.
? Ability to write test cases and scripts for manual or automated execution.
? Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Experience with test automation (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
? Understanding of digital banking regulations and security protocols.
? ISTQB or equivalent certification.
