UAT Environment Manager - Finacle
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled UAT Environment Manager with expertise in Finacle and strong
knowledge of UAT environment management. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and
troubleshooting Finacle User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments, ensuring system
stability, seamless deployments, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. UAT Environment Setup & Management
• Configure and manage Finacle UAT environments, ensuring stability and availability.
• Ensure UAT environments closely replicate production settings for accurate testing.
• Perform environment provisioning, configuration, and refresh cycles.
2. Test Data & Security Management
• Manage test data setup, anonymization, and periodic refreshes.
• Ensure data consistency and compliance with banking security regulations (PCI-DSS,
GDPR).
• Administer role-based access controls (RBAC) for testers and stakeholders.
3. Deployment & Release Management
• Plan and execute Finacle upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in UAT.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes.
• Track and resolve environmental dependencies and conflicts before releases.
4. Troubleshooting & Performance Monitoring
• Identify and resolve UAT environment issues (server failures, database errors,
integration issues).
• Implement monitoring tools to track performance and system health.
• Work with IT and infrastructure teams to address performance bottlenecks.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
• Act as the primary point of contact between testers, developers, and support teams.
• Ensure UAT environments are available and stable for ongoing test cycles.
• Provide technical assistance to testing teams and resolve blockers.
6. Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain environment configuration records, deployment logs, and troubleshooting
guides.
• Ensure compliance with banking industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish and enforce best practices for UAT environment management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
? UAT Environment Management – Strong expertise in managing UAT setups, test data,
and issue resolution.
? Finacle Core Banking Knowledge – Hands-on experience with Finacle configuration,
testing environments, and deployments.
? Database Management – Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, DB2 for data refreshes, queries,
and troubleshooting.
? Operating Systems – Experience in Linux/Unix and Windows-based environments.
? Scripting & Automation – Knowledge of Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell for
automation.
? DevOps & CI/CD Tools – Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Ansible, or other deployment
automation tools.
? Cloud & Virtualization – Experience with AWS, Azure, or on-prem banking infrastructure
(preferred).
Soft Skills:
? Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting – Ability to quickly identify and fix environment
issues.
? Communication & Coordination – Work effectively with testers, developers, and
business teams.
? Attention to Detail – Ensuring accurate configuration, compliance, and issue tracking.
? Time Management – Ability to handle multiple projects and ensure timely environment
availability.
Preferred Experience:
• 6+ years in IT environment management, specifically in UAT environment management.
• Experience working with Finacle UAT environments in a core banking setup.
• Understanding of banking security standards, compliance, and performance
optimization.
