Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Performance Test Evangelist to drive the performance,
scalability, and reliability of critical banking applications. You will be responsible for defining
and implementing performance testing strategies, engineering solutions, and managing end-
to-end performance validation for banking systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive
hands-on expertise in various Performance Testing tools as well as deep knowledge
Performance Tuning for banking application, compliance, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
• Define and implement robust performance testing and engineering frameworks tailored to
banking applications.
• Hands on Experience / could Lead a team of performance testers and engineers,
providing mentorship and training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align performance goals with business objectives and
regulatory compliance.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter,
LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Analyze performance requirements, create test plans, and identify bottlenecks, scalability
issues, and system limitations.
• Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and collaborate with developers to
resolve them.
• Use monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic for system diagnostics
and optimization.
• Implement database tuning, application profiling, and infrastructure optimization to
enhance performance.
• Automate API testing for banking integrations, payment gateways, and third-party APIs
using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.
• Lead mobile performance testing for banking apps across iOS and Android platforms
using tools like Appium, BrowserStack and others.
• Validate customer journeys across digital platforms, ensuring integration of front-end,
middleware, and back-end systems.
• Test for compatibility across multiple devices, screen resolutions, operating systems, and
browser versions.
• Implement backward and forward compatibility testing and manage version control using
tools like Git or Bitbucket.
• Deliver detailed performance test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Gatling and cloud-based performance testing tools for AWS, Azure, or
GCP.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, Shell, or JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications in performance testing tools like Dynatrace Certified, JMeter Certification, or
ISTQB etc.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like
Kubernetes.
