Senior Pre-sales Engineer With Exp 6-8Yrs @Chennai
 Job Description:
Minimum Qualification: B.E. in Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science Engineering or similar field from an accredited university with minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant experience. Objective/Purpose: As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer will play a key-role in understanding the customer requirements and providing techno- commercial solutions related to digital products / services in Renewable sector. The candidate shall possess a strong background in SCADA systems, industrial automation and pre-sales solutions. He will collaborate closely with sales team in developing and delivering detailed technical proposals, presentations and lead in preparation of bids, proposals & sales contracts. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen and excellent communication skills to effectively support sales team and ensure customer satisfaction. Required skills: • Have previous experience in renewables, substation, control center or related power system domain. • Good knowledge of digital monitoring & control solutions like SCADA, PPC, EMS, SAS, etc. • Excellent pre-sales technical skills & technical proposal writing skills • Excellent Presentation and Communication skills in English language (written and verbal) • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details • MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc. Job duties & responsibilities: 1) Solution design & proposal: • Analyze customer needs and design tailored SCADA & other digital solutions (such as PPC, EMS, Microgrid, etc) that meet their specific customer requirements. • Create technical documentation, including technical write-up, system architecture diagrams and associated drawings that describe and highlight the solution proposal. • Prepare detailed product & solution costing 2) Product expertise: • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and solutions, as well as industry trends and technologies. • Provide feedback to the product development team on customer requirements and potential product improvements. • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations on company’s products and solutions. 3) Customer Engagement: • Act as a technical advisor to customers and prospects, addressing their queries and concerns. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. • Handle license sales for company’s renewable products 4) Market & Competitor analysis: • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments. • Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams based on market intelligence. 5) Handover to project team: • Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project team. • Provide technical support during the initial stages of project implementation.
