Job Title: Portfolio Head. Department:- Technology and Solutions.
Grade:- VP 2.
Location:- Airoli - Navi Mumbai.
Reporting To:- IT Head.
POSITION PURPOSE:- We are looking for a Portfolio Head who will be the vital link between our information technology and our
business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and
deployment tasks of our software product’s features. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing Business
Processes on a large scale and devising strategies to improve efficiency. Also, someone who works closely
with stakeholders to identify goals, develop best practices for data collection, and analyse current processes
to determine what can be improved to achieve their desired outcome. Candidate will be responsible for
ensuring Key Business objectives are met with cost effective solution. Key Business Units to cater to will be
Enterprise Risk, Vigilance, Compliance, Wholesale Banking Credit Underwriting. Candidate should be able to
front end Technical Architecture of all the application and ensure that the technology landscape aligned to
enterprise architecture of the Bank. Candidate should be a team leader and should be good at stakeholder
management.
A. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- 1
Provide system solutions for Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Vigilance, Wholesale Banking Credit
underwriting verticals of the Bank along with leading a team of Business analysts, IT Project Managers,
Application Leads and testers
2 To perform customer/business facing roles at end user locations, conducting requirement workshops,
SME interviewing for requirement engineering and prioritization etc.
3 Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements. Help to convert and shape
business requirements into IT requirements.
4 Help design, document, and maintain system processes at Functional level.
5 Define reporting and alerting requirement, interface register etc. Support Architect in NFR and
Architecture review board approvals and solution governance.
6 Provide input and review on quality assurance and Requirement traceability to solution and
Implementation.
7 Drive respective domain innovation, solution on process optimization, Automation etc.
8 Ensuring that the overall solution is in line with Architecture strategy and standards.
9 Own end to end solution at a higher functional level
10 Identify interdependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are
identified, mitigated, and communicated.
11 Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions, and
escalate issues where appropriate.
12 Be part of evaluation teams for various 3rd party tools and systems that may be adopted by the
Bank (to attend vendor demos and provide technical inputs).
13 Support and own hiring for respective vertical and own the BA capability building.
14 Own and develop relationships with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration.
15 Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product
team.
16 Communicate key insights and findings to product/Operations team.
17 Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to
the customer.
18 Establish and manage long-term partnerships with the business teams.
19 Ability to interact with business, risk, compliance, operations, collection and convert business
requirements into IT requirements.
20 Responsible to review and Support business on Compliance and regulatory requirements and provide
solutions to meeting regulatory timelines.
21 Use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews, workshops,
surveys, site visits, and storyboards.
22 Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks. Communicate trade-offs to business partners
and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.
23 Work with business and delivery teams to prioritize requirements.
24 Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process and support delivery teams as they
develop, test, and deploy solutions.
25 Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted; define and execute test
cases.
26 Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, and
process flows also document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps.
27 Identify and assist in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business processes
28 Promote a collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to junior-level analysts.
29 Manage the system functionality implementation end to end including the budgeting and accounting
part.
B. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:- Essential:- Bachelor’s or masters degree in computer science, information systems, a related
field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred:- Business analysis certification (e.g. CBAP) is preferred.
Essential:- Business analysis certification (e.g. CBAP) is preferred.
Preferred:- Professional certification in agile methodologies is preferred
Knowledge of Basel guidelines on Enterprise Risk such as Credit Risk OR Market Risk OR
Operational Risk OR Fraud Risk, AML, ALM
Knowledge of Standardized Approach, Advanced Approach, RWA computation, VaR
computation, etc
Knowledge of Wholesale Lending products.

Attribute:- • Understanding of Technology and Tech Integrations especially API domain

• Strong domain knowledge in the Banking industry (Functional review and gap
analysis with best in class issuing platforms, banking payments hubs, real time
payments)
• Other financial services domain knowledge would be beneficial: Payments
Systems, Credit Card Authorizations, Banking Payments, trade, Treasury, KYC etc.
• Process: Agile, Waterfall
• Experience with Continuous Delivery and Strategic consultancy for business
teams
• End to end banking, cards or payment product implementation and
transformation experience
• Excellent communications skills, verbally and in writing in English.
• Experience and proof points on delivering in a high stress situation.
• Experience and understanding of Indian Banking Industry, Knowledge on RBI
regulatory guidelines will be added advantage.
