Job Description:
Job Title:- Release Manager.
Department:- Technology.
Grade:- SM/AVP.
Reporting To:- Lead Software Engineer.
POSITION PURPOSE :- Release Manager for multiple applications.
A. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- 1 Understanding of business domain and applications supporting the business domain
2 Team Management, Leadership, Team shift management etc.
3 Own release management lifecycle for the bank & maintain release management calendar, roster etc
4 Manage risks for release scopes
5 Collaborate with various teams to improve release processes
6 Document all the deviations, various release related statistics and present it at relevant forums
7 Work closely with Change Management and Incident Management team
8 Actively participate in audits
9 Willingness to adapt, cross-skill and contribute to various development and organizational activities
10 Upskill to the newer technologies.
B. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:- Engineering Graduate.

a. Technical Skills:- Release management tools Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Version control systems Git or SVN.
configuration management tools Familiarity with deployment and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
