 Job Description:
Job Title:- BRE Experian Developer. Department:- Information Technology. Grade:- Manager / Senior Manager. Reporting To:- IT – Project Manager. POSITION PURPOSE :- We are seeking a skilled and experienced BRE Experian Developer to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business rules within a Business Rules Engine powered by Experian. Your primary objective will be to design, implement, and optimize business rules that align with our organization's requirements and contribute to operational efficiency and accuracy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and software engineers, to translate business logic into executable rules within the BRE platform. A. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- 1 Design, implement, and maintain business rules within a Business Rules Engine powered by Experian. 2 Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand and document business rules and requirements. 3 Translate business requirements into executable rules using the capabilities of the BRE platform. 4 Develop and maintain rule templates, rule sets, rule libraries, and decision tables to efficiently capture and manage business logic. 5 Perform unit testing and debugging of business rules to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements. 6 Optimize and fine-tune rule execution performance for maximum efficiency. 7 Collaborate with software engineers to integrate the business rules into applications and systems. 8 Support and maintain the BRE platform, including troubleshooting issues, performing upgrades, and implementing enhancements. 9 Monitor and report on the performance and effectiveness of the business rules, making recommendations for improvements. 10 Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in business rules management and BRE technology. B. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT. Qualifications:- Essential B.Sc./BCA/M.Sc/MCA - IT/Computer Science. Preferred Engineering Graduate - IT/Computer Science. Experience:- Essential 2-6 Yrs. Preferred Experian – Powercurve development . C. Organisation network and Interlinkages (To understand who are your Stakeholders):- Internal: 1. Architecture Teams 2. Development and Engineering Teams 3. Service Delivery and Application Support Teams 4. Project and Implementation Teams 5. Infrastructure, DBA and Cloud Teams 6. Business / Product. External: 1. Business Application Providers 2. Technology Partners. D. COMPETENCY a. Technical Skills:- Tool Management Proven experience in developing and maintaining business rules within a Business Rules Engine, preferably with experience in an Experian-powered environment. Good to have knowledge on SOAP/Postman Testing tools, Oracle / MS SQL Database SQL knowledge and MS Office (Excel). Know-how Strong knowledge of business rules modelling, rule template design, rule authoring, and rule testing. b.
