Job Description:
"o A minimum of 6-9 years of ‘hands on’ system software analysis, development and testing using Oracle PL-SQL, Python, Perl and Unix, Control-M
o Knowledge of essential Software Engineering principles.
o Strong knowledge of Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts.
o Python (& Pandas) hands on knowledge and strong scripting skills
o Oracle hands-on knowledge: E.g.: PLSQL, Triggers, reusable function and Oracle Query Performance Tuning
o Understand a data warehousing solution and able to work independently in such an environment. Developing a warehouse is good to have.
o Experience in database performance tuning
o Hands-on experience of database development environments and tools such as SQLPlus, TOAD, SQL Developer
o Project development and delivery experience of a few good size projects
o Good Operating Systems knowledge and associated commands (UNIX [AIX/Solaris], MS Windows).
o Experience of Source Control Tools such as Svn.
o Passion for technology, engineering, problem solving and team working"
